Section 1 has a widespread geographic footprint and the local realities of the Covid-19 spread and regulations vary from city to city, county to county and from state to state. Our foremost concern is the safety and wellbeing of our players, coaches, referees and extended families. With that said, while there has been no official cancellation of the Fall 2020 AYSO Core season, we are all actively engaged in conversations at the local level with city and school officials, public health experts and our National Office and are accessing and determining those circumstances under which it would be appropriate to bring our children back to the pitch.

Our goal is to keep you constantly informed on the status of our return to play – whether that is a full season, an abbreviated season, or a season delayed – again, depending on what our assessments tell us. We understand that this may cause some uncertainty and we apologize for that, but it is our promise to keep you updated on a continual basis. Please check back here frequently for additional updates. In the meantime, we encourage you to socially distance and wear face coverings and most importantly, stay safe.
